What We Collect

When you apply for the Pro Examination, activate membership, or enter a tour stage, we collect: full name, country, IC or passport number, date of birth, gender, email, mobile number, mailing address, home dart shop, darts experience and rating, throwing hand, major results, a self-introduction, a passport-style photo, and a scan or photo of your identification document.

When you make a payment, our payment processor (HitPay) handles your card or bank details directly — we never see or store your full payment credentials. We keep a record of the transaction (amount, purpose, status, and a gateway reference) for receipts and reconciliation.

Why We Collect It

To process your Pro Examination application and verify your identity against your IC or passport, to issue and manage your membership number and login, to organise exam sittings and tour stage entries, to generate receipts, invoices, and your qualification certificate, and to contact you about your application, exam results, payments, and tour stage bookings.

Who We Share It With

We use HitPay to process payments, Resend to send transactional emails (receipts, exam notifications, login credentials, password resets), and Supabase to host our database and store your documents securely. These providers act as our data processors and only receive what they need to perform their function — they do not use your data for their own purposes.

We do not sell your personal data. Your identification documents and photos are stored in a private file store, never made public, and are only viewed by authorised PERFECT MALAYSIA / Phoenixdarts Sports Malaysia staff for application screening and exam administration.

What's Public

Once you pass the Pro Examination and your membership is active, your name, member number, and home dart shop appear in the public Players directory and on tour Result pages alongside your placements and points. Your IC/passport number, date of birth, address, email, and mobile number are never shown publicly.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your application and membership records for as long as you hold an active or pending membership, and afterwards as needed to meet our accounting and legal obligations. You can ask us to review or delete data that's no longer needed using the contact details below.

Your Rights

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA), you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, and withdraw consent for us to process it (though this may mean we can no longer process your exam application, membership, or tour entries).
